Little Charo Episode 6

This article is part of a series on the game Little Charo for Nintendo DS. For more information please see this introductory post.

Episode Overview

In this episode, Charo meets Sirius, a hero police dog who has successful caught a criminal! Maybe he will be able to help Charo return home?

There is a somewhat tricky section in this stage which you have to use trial and error to get past. It is the table with four people, and Charo is trying to hear all of them. In order to pass this section easily, just do as follows:

  • First, you can move to the right side, bark, and then listen to hear the man with glasses.
  • Then on the right side again, knock over the magazines and listen to hear the blond woman.
  • Then on the left side, just listen to hear the black haired girl.
  • The tricky part is listening to the muscleman. You need to first go to the left and bark. Then go to the right and bark, then knock over the magazines. Finally, return to the center and listen.

You will also need to make sure to collect all of the English coins in this episode, as they are a requirement for a bonus episode immediately following this one.

Little Charo Episode 5

This article is part of a series on the game Little Charo for Nintendo DS. For more information please see this introductory post.

Episode Overview

This time, Charo goes to a street fair, and ends up meeting the strange woman that had appeared in his dreams. Will Charo learn something about his future?

This episode is mostly straightforward, albeit longer and a bit more difficult than the past couple of episodes. There is one section near the end where you have to make some specific choices through trial-and-error in order to get past a young fortune-teller. Just “sit”, “bark”, and then “jump to the left” to get past her easily.

You will also need to make sure to collect all of the English coins in this episode, as they are a requirement for another bonus episode that is coming up soon. I found them all on the first try, just make sure to talk to everyone and select all of the options.

Little Charo Episode 4

This article is part of a series on the game Little Charo for Nintendo DS. For more information please see this introductory post.

Episode Overview

In this episode, Charo meets Candy again, and she’s whining about something else. This gal is so annoying. She runs off, and you basically spend the episode trying to convince her to quit being a spoiled brat and go back to her owner.

When you get to the part when Chris follows you and you have to chase Candy, it can be a little tricky. First of all, in order to split up from Chris, you have to talk to him, and then respond as follows:

should we chase her? -> don’t answer
should we wait for her here? -> don’t answer
how about we split up? -> answer

If you can’t solve the puzzle to catch Candy, here is the solution.

Little Charo Episode 3

This article is part of a series on the game Little Charo for Nintendo DS. For more information please see this introductory post.

Episode Overview

This time, Charo meets a new friend named Candy at the park. She is all whiny because some kids took her ball, so its up to Charo to try to get it back for her. Later on, Charo meets a strange woman in his dreams…

In comparison to Episodes 1 & 2, the Japanese here is a bit on the easier side, so I doubt you will have much trouble.

There are two mini-games in this Episode. The first is a simple English puzzle. To complete it, you simply need to select letters that are missing from the words on the top screen. At the end of the chapter, you play a mini-game where Charo is dreaming. Simply slide around on the touch screen to move Charo, and try to make him hit the stars while avoiding the clouds. This game will pop up again in several later chapters. Try to score as many points as you can, as the points can be necessary to unlock some bonus episodes later on.

Frequently Used Vocabulary

This episode is fairly straightforward and I did not encounter any difficult vocabulary that occurs more than once or twice.

Little Charo Bonus Episode 1

This article is part of a series on the game Little Charo for Nintendo DS. For more information please see this introductory post.

Episode Overview

This is the first Bonus Episode that you will encounter in the game. The bonus episodes are usually short, and give some background on some of the characters that Charo meets. This episode tells the story of how Margherita first met John.

Each Bonus Episode has specific requirements that must be met in order to unlock it. Lets take a look at the requirements for this episode.

Bonus Episode 1 Requirements

For this episode to be unlocked, you have to have cleared episode 2, obtained 200 points (through the various challenges and mini-games that appear in each episode), and obtained all of the English coins from episodes 1 and 2. The only thing that might give some trouble for this one is the English coins, so if you are missing some, you will need to go back and play the episode you missed them in (which is good reading practice in any case). If you are having trouble finding any of the English coins, be sure to check out what I wrote about them in the posts about Episodes 1 & 2. If you are still having trouble, just post in the comments and I will try to help you.

Frequently Used Vocabulary

There do not seem to be any frequently occurring words that you won’t already know from the previous episodes. Any unknown words will likely only appear once. It’s quite feasible to understand every single word in this episode.
